I really want to learn conversation and i am teaching myself. i am reading 3 books on spanish language right now, and there is so much to learn. so i learned today that i should never refer to a person as "caliente"! I understand about mixing genders in my adjectives as well. it's a problem i have often. may i ask, de donde eres?

About the word "caliente", 20 years from now I guess I will feel very proud of telling something like that about my hubby! hahahaha Don't worry about the genders in spanish, is the most common problem in students, so don't despair. About your question "de dónde eres?", my answer is: "Nací y crecí en Argentina, y en el 2001 me mudé a Cancun Mexico así que ahora soy mexicana". That means: I was born and grew up in Argentina, and in 2001 I moved to Cancun Mexico so I'm a mexican now.
